You have alot more to prove if ugly, short or looking foreign. If you get any internship worth anything, you get recruited as a hot female or chad. Grades doesnt matter if they see a potential asset in your looks. Handsome ppl are seen as more intelligent and most of the time they have great social skills and big ego/self confidence that lets them promote themselfes.
