Anyone have thoughts on dogmaxxing? No it’s not what it seems, just that when you have been so lonely and so deprived of any physical contact and companionship for so long due to your ugliness, owning a dog may be a decent cope, because the dog may keep you company and will like you. Also, hanging out with friends is cool but not the same because it would be weird to touch them but it is not weird to touch your dog and have it sit next to you on the couch while you watch tv or something. Perhaps this is like the male incel equivent of the cat lady. Anyway seems like a decent cope to me.

What does help then? I don’t think escorts or anything helps it just makes me feel even worse. I’ve found hanging out with friends helps a bit but you can’t pat them on the head pet them have them run up to you and jump on you or have them sleep at the foot of your bed. Also if your friends are sexually active and talk about it or something it actually backfires and makes it feel worse.
